How you started

Played around with CB radio as a kid, admired the radios that were displayed in the shop window of Hamrad in Durban. In 2010 decided to do my license.

Most Memorable Contact

Talking to a ham in the UK which was testing his antenna which he had just put together on a table in his small backyard . Signal reports both ways was 59 with 100w. He was surprised when I answered his cq call.

Best part of the Hobby

Having fun without having to leave your house.
